Maithili language is getting omega replica watches popular among the UPSC aspirants as a subject. "For the first time a girl examinee Rajani Jha (591) from a remote Dharhia village (Kamtaul) in Darbhanga district has cracked UPSC examination by opting Maithili. Currently, she is working as a secretary in the Lok Sabha standing committee on information technology since 2015.
 
Talking to TOI over phone she said: "I have done my B Tech in chemical engineering from BIT Sindri way back in 2005-09. I also worked in Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) for two years from 2010-12". Her passion for Maithili can only be judged that being a technical graduate she chose to opt Maithili.
 
Currently, her parents are settled in Jamshedpur in Jharkhand. She did her early schooling in Jamshedpur. "Being a Maithil I decided to opt for Maithili in UPSC examination. I am so happy that I have cleared it in fourth attempt. I have faced not much problem since my mother tongue is Maithili," she told TOI.
 
A native of Madhepura district Aditya Kumar Anand (863) has never studied in any of the convent schools during his career. " I did my early education from BN high school in Murliganj in Madhpeura and did my BA History (Hons) from Bhagalpur''s TNB college. My father still is a farmer," he told TOI over phone.
 
Last year Anand had cleared Indian Railways Accounts Service. Currently, he is undertaking training in Faridabad.
 
Talking to TOI over breitling replica phone from Delhi, Shekhar Jha, heading a Delhi-based coaching institute for Maithili aspirants in UPSC ''Manthan'', admitted that of late, Maithili has been getting popular among students across the country in UPSC examination. "This time also two non-Biharis - Amit Kumar Anand (763 UP) and Satpal (706) from Rajasthan - had opted Maithili in UPSC examination.
 
Shekhar Jha, a native of Araria district who has been running coaching institute since 2006, has claimed that more than 50 have been cleared UPSC since then by opting Maithili. "Even non-Maithili examinees are opting it in UPSC and three months coaching help them to crack the UPSC examination," Jha told TOI.
 
Last year also, similar number of examinees had cracked UPSC examination, Jha said.
Another examinee from Anthrathadi village in Madhubani district Pravin Kumar, B Tech in electronics and computers from NIT Jamshedpur, has cracked UPSC by opting Maithili this time.
